What are the driving rules on the islands of Wallis and Futuna?
The driving rules are the same as in mainland France. The speed limit is 70km/h on Wallis on the main roads, and 50 km/h on Futuna because the many bends do not allow you to go faster. Beware of the many speed bumps on the roads! They can sometimes surprise you. Seat belts are compulsory.

There are many on Wallis (some even open on Sundays!) and three on Futuna.
Can we go around the islands?
On Wallis, the main and secondary roads serve the island very well. On Futuna, since Cyclone Toma in March 2010, it is impossible to go around the island. The road is cut at the Pointe des Pyramides on the northeast coast of the island.
